In one line: Chess Arcana has no servers of its own. Your profile and game data stay on your device, online play runs through Apple's Game Center, and there is no third-party tracking.

Data we process

• Game data (rating, win/loss/draw records, streaks, recent games, settings): stored only on your device using the system's local storage.
• Online play: matchmaking and real-time moves are handled by Apple's Game Center and peer-to-peer connections. We do not run our own servers and do not store your matches.
• Purchases: hero packs are processed by Apple's In-App Purchase. We receive only whether an item was purchased — never your payment details.

What we do not do

• We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, location, or other personally identifying information.
• No third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We never sell or share your data.

Game Center

Online matches use Apple's Game Center (sign-in, matchmaking, friend invites) and Apple's peer-to-peer connectivity. Your use of Game Center is governed by Apple's privacy policy. Within a match, only the information needed to play — such as moves and your Game Center display name — is exchanged with your opponent through Apple's services.

Storage & deletion

Your game data lives on your device. Deleting the app removes it. You can manage Game Center data in your device's Settings under Game Center.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
